Philippians 4:8 "Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. "
An approving smile and an encouraging word can "steer" a person in the right direction much more than disapproval and criticism any day. Praise given at the right time will bring out the best in most people. We should concentrate on the "whatevers": ....whatever is just, lovely, of good report, of virtue, and worth praising!
